Youth (Level I and Level II)
Our youth programs offer diverse services to youth and young adults currently residing in the Southeast Los Angeles region. These youth programs empower our future generations to reach success by equipping them with the appropriate tools and resources.
HCC’s emphasis on developing job readiness among our participants is evident in our long-term interventions strategies to improve youth’s career and leadership skills. Our overall goal in strengthening youth’s workforce development skills will best prepare them to succeed in their desired industry.
Specific activities available include, but are not limited to, compensated work experience, skill training, and job readiness workshops.
The Youth Resource Center at HCC provides access to services including job preparation, post-secondary education opportunities, and vocational training. These services are possible through the following in-house program resources: technological devices, scholarship, and financial aid information, and factual information on reputable colleges and universities.
